Coward of the Dusk/Noble of the Dawn.

fallacy at sea.

    a fear of
     water

is keeping me from reaching salvation.
    waiting
    for this iceberg
to finally submerge so i can swim.
    the gods are
     circling overhead
and i'm not sure if i am prey to them.

~we were cast into the sea.
the only chance for safety
was the ship that past
when we had left
to find some rest; SOUNDLY SLEEPING
dreaming of the coast
where home we long for most
is waiting countless miles away
guarded by the holy ghost.~

    fighting all my
    nerves and
stealing out like ravaged/stranded thieves.
    the distance
    was alluring
and often appeared closer within reach.
    but i'm certain
    that someday
we will find ourselves at peace if we believe.

...i open my eyes to find that i've been slowly sinking deep into the fallacy.
[and still searching for that ship which drifted alee in my dormancy.]

the beast and the burden
the warden will feast
but first you must lure in
the chief who will speak
and eat while enduring
the least of his worries.
the priest wept in mourning,
the sheep left without warning
& we'll keep the peace for the only ones deserving.

_-_-_-> HEAVED into the sTreeTs.
where ferocity breeds so easily.
i act out against <-_-_-_
the wish of he who watches over me.

"i've
known the burdens of guilt
and the tides of ill will!
i've severed my sins
as a means to an
end."

I AM MY FATHERS' SON
and i drink from the holiest wells of water.
inside our prison cells,
we sing into the midnight hour.

much like the proverbial hands of the time.
we keep thinking For--->Ward
to a life outside these [ guarded ] | walls |
that fate will surely decide For Us.

THRIVING PRIDE RIDING HIGH ! ! ! <on the white horseback of dreams.>

: : : she sat me down to speak about what courtship was really meant to be.

I AM THE ONE UP AT DAWN ! ! ! <while the rest of the home remains asleep.>

: : : now we've come to learn that what we see is not what we believe.

04:25/04:26 =

yet again you found me in my sleep.

i woke up thinking you were next to me
and immediately felt complete.

but soon i discovered the desolate truth;
that in this world…
i'm merely a Q without a (yo)U.

*

if you were the grey swan
i would keep you for my own
and starve the world of your beauty.

you always come along
with the dawn of the sun
and i'm the one left
in the wake of your mourning.
